I have been a software engineer by trade since 2014. I started as an embedded software engineer working on advanced control systems in Pella, Iowa. From there I transitioned to the realm of training and simulation, working on real-time high fidelity flight simulators in the Las Vegas, Nevada area followed by roles in internal research and development for infrastructure as code and devsecops in the DoD sector in Arlington, Texas. I'm now working remotely, but local to San Diego, California, helping embedded software development teams modernize their systems and workflows through cloud native architecture, microservices and containers.
I enjoy working in a fast paced environment where I can impact the business and have the opportunity to travel, and I make it a priority to like what I do.
